Senior Mechanical Project Engineer

Are you an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer who is looking to be a part of key projects, with a dynamic and progressive engineering company? Rockwell is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to join an exciting mechanical engineering project initially based in the Limerick region, on a permanent and full‑time basis.

• 
  
• Generate project schedules in conjunction with project team.
  
• Monitor project work progress.
  
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
  
• Project engineering submissions and value engineering.
  
• Project procurement and materials management.
  
• Project build review and interaction with co‑contractors.
  
• Designing and modelling in 3D using Autodesk 3D software.
  
• Evaluating final product's overall performance, reliability and safety.
  
• Interacting and managing Clients, CMT, Suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  
• Carry out Quality Control through inspections and snagging including walking down of P&ID's, and layout drawings.

• Relevant third level qualification in Mechanical / Building Services.
  
• Knowledge and understanding of both HVAC and Piping Systems.
  
• Have a good level of knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit & BIM software systems.
  
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience post qualification.
  
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate detailed monthly reports.
  
• Have a positive attitude with a passion to learn & succeed, an energetic approach and an ability to take accountability.
