Staff Pharmacist

An independent specialty pharmacy in the Daphne area is seeking an energetic part time to full time pharmacist to be a part of our team. This position will work from 30 to 40 hours per week. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday, no weekends. We offer a competitive salary and access to benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, 401K and paid time off.
Requirements:
*Must have an active Alabama license in good standing.
* Parenteral license required.
*Sterile compounding experience preferred but not required.
Qualifications:
* Ability to work with supervision and maintain courteous and professional composure.
*Ability to work cooperatively with both pharmacists and technicians.
* Must have strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
*Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
* Prepares and assists the pharmacy team in the preparation of medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders.
*Dispenses medications.
* Assists in the maintenance of records.
*Maintains required licenses or certifications in good standing with the State.
* Complies with all company policies, procedures, rules and standards for this position.
*Complies with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the State Board of Pharmacy, the DEA and the FDA.
