Python Developer

Dublin 12 month daily rate contract, Hybrid, 3 days on site, Dublin

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join a high-performing engineering team delivering enterprise-scale applications. This role requires strong backend expertise, experience working within structured development environments, and the ability to contribute to large, production-grade systems.

• 
  
• 4–5+ years of commercial Python development experience, ideally within enterprise or large-scale environments (not solely small, single-developer projects).
  
• Strong experience building full-scale web applications using at least one major Python framework such as:
  
• Django
  
• FastAPI
  
• Flask
  
• Experience working on production-grade backend systems, not limited to analytics scripts, ML models, or support tooling.
  
• Solid understanding of database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) including hands‑on experience using ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy or equivalent.
  
• Exposure to microservices architecture and containerised environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership.
  
• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  
• Exposure to Graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, TigerGraph).
  
• Frontend development experience using TypeScript and modern UI frameworks such as React or Angular.
  
• Experience within data-focused environments, including exposure to data lineage concepts.
