About the Role

Are you a passionate Chef ready to take your culinary skills to the next level? Join our vibrant Buffets team at Butlin’s Skegness! We’re on the lookout for experienced chefs who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and take pride in delivering consistently high-quality food.

As a key player in our buffet restaurants, you’ll work closely with the Junior Kitchen Manager to oversee daily operations in your section. Your leadership will ensure efficiency, uphold great standards, and maintain full compliance with food safety policies.

You'll set the bar high by maintaining a clean and organized workstation while mentoring and supporting our Commis Chefs. Your guidance will help them grow, all while keeping the kitchen running smoothly and safely.

This is a full-time, permanent role, offering 35 hours per week across 5 days, including weekends, with pay received fortnightly. Breakfast shifts run from 4am–12pm, and dinner shifts from 11am–7:30pm. Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the business. Live-in accommodation may be available for those over 18 relocating to the area (subject to DBS).

We’re seeking chefs with proven experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen. This role is not suitable for beginners or those without professional kitchen experience.

You should be hardworking, reliable, and determined, with a genuine commitment to high standards and a desire for continuous improvement. You’ll understand how great food and teamwork enhance the guest experience, bringing energy and enthusiasm to help your team deliver excellence.

Holding a Level 3 Food Safety qualification, you’ll confidently lead others in a fast-paced environment. You’ll also manage margins, control costs, and maintain excellent hygiene, health, and safety practices.
