Junior Kitchen Manager

Are you ready to take your culinary career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join our vibrant Butlin's Restaurants Department in Skegness!

In this exciting role, you’ll report directly to the Kitchen Manager and play a pivotal part in running our kitchen while leading a talented team of chefs. You’ll step up in the Kitchen Manager's absence, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Your passion for delivering exceptional experiences will shine as you:

• Monitor and enhance guest satisfaction, developing action plans for continuous improvement.
• Lead daily briefings and support your team’s growth through effective leadership.
• Manage stock control and ensure food presentation meets our high standards.
• Drive financial performance by delivering food cost budgets through strategic menu planning.
• Uphold food hygiene standards and health and safety regulations in line with legislation and company policies.

We’re seeking individuals with experience in a similar role who are:

• Hardworking and Determined: A reliable person who gets things done and seeks better ways to uphold our brand standards.
• Energetic and Enthusiastic: High-spirited and fun-loving, understanding the value of enhancing the guest experience.
• Qualified: You should have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

In this role, you’ll also manage margins, control costs, and ensure all health, safety, and hygiene standards are met. Our chefs are special, and we know our guests love returning to our restaurants as part of their holiday experience. This role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, totaling 40 hours. Flexibility is key, as some shifts may extend late into the night, with 4am finishes involved. A bonus scheme is also included!
