About denizen.one
denizen.one is de novo politics. Denizen is a hyper‑local grassroots community action platform built to empower, enrich and unite local communities.
Our goal is to make protests and petitions redundant by giving communities better systems long before frustration reaches that point. The platform channels chaos and outrage into ‘Coherent Consensus’ and generates validated ‘Constructive Solutions’ by giving everyone skin in the game.
Although the democratic agency layer is central to our mission, many users will first encounter denizen to satisfy practical local needs. For disaffected members of the community and those in crisis, the tools for voting, consensus, ideation and interfacing with elected representatives will only have value when their trust is earned and their basic human needs are met.
It offers sophisticated tools and matchmaking technology to connect individuals to the humans, groups, guidance, entities and resources they need to affect positive change in their lives and communities.
It also provides a practical local toolset for community coherence and action: helping residents connect around shared needs, coordinate support, organise initiatives, surface opportunities, share resources, form groups, and move from isolation or outrage into useful participation.
Alongside that community toolset, denizen will provide a powerful suite of tools for leaders, organisers and public representatives: issue visibility, sentiment and consensus mapping, structured community feedback, community asks, transparency systems, and clearer pathways for public engagement, responsiveness and accountability.
It will demystify political and bureaucratic processes and bring never‑before‑seen transparency and accountability to those who serve.
Ideal candidates should be:
Enthusiastic adopter and fluent user of AI tools and technology.
Fluent in platform economics and incentive design, able to work with product + engineering to ship trust, reputation, utility, and consensus systems that scale without getting gamed.
Highly fluent in business, politics and economics, with proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
Knowledgeable and up to date on behaviour change models / behavioural economics.
Comfortable building products that must deliver value to ordinary local users, community organisers, and leaders or institutions at the same time.
Able to hold a non‑partisan operating posture while remaining deeply rooted in human dignity, unmet needs, and practical problem‑solving.
Responsibilities Include (Founder‑level)
Building & Scaling Execution: strategy, roadmap, priorities, shipping rhythm, prototypes to pilots (Ireland + U.K. and U.S.).
Stakeholder / Board Relations: liaising and coordinating with high‑profile advisors, stakeholders and contributors.
Team Building: attract and hire A‑players, set culture, create accountability without bureaucracy.
Lead Product with the builders: partner with design / engineering to ship the core platform across both sides of the ecosystem, including community utility tools, user missions, local cooperation features, community voting, group tooling, local news, consensus mechanics, community‑validated ideas, and leader / institutional interface tools.
Drive Deployment: secure pilots, partnerships, and pathways into real communities and institutions.
Oversee Operations: systems, budgets, timelines, legal / compliance hygiene, stakeholder comms.
Protect Product‑Market Integrity: ensure the platform remains grounded in practical day‑to‑day value for communities, while also building trusted tools for leadership, listening, accountability and decision‑making.
What success looks like
The right COO will understand that denizen is not merely asking people to care about politics. xcfaprz It is building the conditions under which people can feel heard and valued, experience useful local cooperation, rebuild trust, and then exercise democratic agency from a stronger place.
