Oracle Developer

This team delivers enterprise-scale technology solutions supporting core finance and regulatory processes across multiple international locations.

This role is suited to a senior developer with a strong track record of contributing to large-scale, multi-year technology programmes, building business-critical systems with a focus on stability, performance, and scalability. You will contribute to the delivery of a strategic technology platform with a well-defined roadmap of future enhancements.

The successful candidate will:

• 
  
• Migrate and re-engineer functionality from legacy reference data systems onto strategic platforms
  
• Design and build tools to accelerate onboarding of new data feeds, including:
  
• Automated testing capabilities
  
• Enhance the core reference data platform with new features focused on data quality management and analytics
  
• Develop new functionality across strategic finance technology platforms
  
• Provide occasional third-line application support
  
• Build a strong understanding of the underlying finance and reference data domains
  
• Perform technical and data analysis as required to support development and delivery
  

• 
  
• Extensive Oracle development experience (PL/SQL) — typically 8+ years
  
• Proven experience working with large-scale enterprise databases, including:
  
• Indexing strategies
  
• Performance tuning and optimisation
  
• Stored procedures
  
• Experience delivering within complex, enterprise technology environments
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, global team
  
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on delivery and quality
