JobOverview

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Tool Design Engineer to lead the tooling development from the Pilot ToolingPhase to the Industrialisation Phase, providing detailed design and tool manufacturing support to assigned projects.

• Designing cassette, single and multi-cavity high precision moulds for demanding technical applications
• Successfulmanagement and delivery of new tooling projects to agreed project time scaleand budgets
• Successful handover of new projects from a pre-production stage to mass production at Prior PLM Medical and within predetermined quality and cost guidelines
• Specification of Hot Runner, Cold Runner / Semi Hot Runner, Valve gatedsystems

• ManufacturingExperience xcfaprz
• Qualificationin Project Management (PMP or equivalent)
• Additional Polymer Processing Qualification

• Engineering Degree or higher in Tool Design or related field
• Extensive injection mould tool design experience
• Project Management Experience (Preferably in Medical Device)
• Minimum 8Years Experience (Injection Mould Tool Design) in a related roll
• Goodunderstanding of the injection moulding process
• Abilityto interact with suppliers, customers, and external toolmakers
