Job Type: Contract / Part-Time (Staff Augmentation)
Location: Onsite — Kingsboro Psychiatric Center, 681 Clarkson Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11203
Schedule: Up to 4 hours/week (approx. 16 hours/month ), scheduled within Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (flexible by mutual agreement)
Start Date: ASAP (after credentialing/clearance)
Pay Rate: $190–$220/hour (based on experience & credentials)


Position Overview

ND Global Consulting Services, Inc. (NDGCS) is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist to provide cardiology consultation services for adult in-patients at a New York State psychiatric facility (Kingsboro Psychiatric Center) in Brooklyn, NY. This is a part-time, onsite consulting role supporting timely evaluations, clinical recommendations, and documentation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide cardiology consults for adult in-patients as requested by clinical staff
  • Perform cardiovascular evaluation and deliver diagnosis/treatment recommendations
  • Interpret EKGs and support clinical decision-making as needed
  • Coordinate and communicate with the facility’s clinic team and referring prescribers
  • Complete consult documentation and reports in accordance with facility standards and applicable requirements
  • Participate in required trainings and comply with all facility, state, and federal regulations
  • Complete credentialing and privileging requirements prior to starting work


Required Qualifications

  • MD or DO with specialization in Cardiology
  • Board Certified (ABIM) in Cardiology and/or cardiology subspecialty (e.g., cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology)
  • Ability to provide services in English (Spanish bilingual preferred/accepted)
  • Ability to pass required background screening and facility clearance
  • Strong clinical documentation skills and professional communication


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience providing consult services in hospital/institutional or complex care settings
  • Familiarity with structured consult reporting formats and compliance-driven documentation
