Job Location: Wellness Clinic Youth Center (Excelsior Springs, MO)

Job Position: Physician (Contract/1099/Independent Contractor)

Job Description:

Here is a list of some of the standard primary and acute care managed at the clinic;

• hypertension, diabetes, ADHD, GERD, UTIs, URIs, STDs, sprains, allergies, wellness exams, sick visits and school physicals.
• Collaboration with Mid-Levels

Collaboration with center's medical staff, wellness staff and substance abuse specialists as necessary.

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Locums Physician with The Locums Company, LLC in Excelsior Springs, MO. The Locums Physician will be responsible for providing coverage for primary care physicians and specialists during vacation, leave, other staffing shortages, or on-going yearly long-term contracts. The Locums Physician will work on-site and provide medical care to student patients in accordance with their medical specialty and expertise. Job Requirement:

• Active and unrestricted state medical license in Missouri state
• Experience in providing medical care to adolescent patients, including performing medical procedures and prescribing medications
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work 18 hours per week (Monday - Wednesday)
• Prior experience as a locums physician is a plus
• Valid Federal DEA license

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $150.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 hours per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Day shift

Monday to Friday

No weekends
