Project Manager / Data Analyst - Procurement Operations
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46268
Work Arrangement: 100% On-Site
Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $37.80 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager with strong data analysis skills to support a global procurement organization. This role will manage key operational projects, drive supplier performance improvements, and maintain critical procurement data.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams and external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Performance Management
- Lead and track cost savings projects, ensuring milestones, owner actions, and financial results are delivered on time.
- Manage OTD (On-Time Delivery) escalation processes, including monitoring daily performance, coordinating cross-functional actions, and driving supplier accountability.
- Prepare and publish cost savings progress reports and daily performance metric dashboards.
- Compile, clean, and analyze procurement data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Create and maintain daily tracking tools, visualization dashboards, and presentation-ready metrics.
- Support routine and ad-hoc reporting needs for procurement leadership.
- Update and maintain the Supplier Risk Portal, ensuring supplier data accuracy and timely risk flag resolution.
- Manage supplier progress on environmental compliance surveys and other sustainability-related data collection.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate information flow.
- Maintain and validate Purchasing Master Data, ensuring alignment across procurement, finance, and operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to data processes, controls, and quality.
Required
- Bachelor's degree (minimum required) in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in project management with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Strong data analysis capabilities, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas).
- Experience creating dashboards or working with Business Intelligence tools .
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Procurement or supply chain experience (supplier management, sourcing, purchasing operations).
- Familiarity with ERP systems, supplier portals, or procurement analytics platforms.
