*Duties*
* Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, tarts, and confections with precision and flair
* Assist in food production and food preparation activities to support the overall kitchen operations
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station, adhering to strict food handling and safety standards
* Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new pastry recipes and seasonal dessert menus
* Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations and safety protocols
*Qualifications*
* Proven pastry experience in a professional kitchen or bakery environment
* Strong skills in cake decorating, baking, and food presentation techniques
* Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food preparation methods specific to pastries and desserts
* Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail
* Customer service mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
