IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL BE:
- Leading by example with full product and sales knowledge, inspiring your team to deliver excellence
- Scheduling, training, coaching, and developing team members to achieve operational and guest-service goals
- Recruiting top talent and fostering a positive, high-performance workplace culture
- Participating in operational meetings, providing insights on profit, revenue, labour, and employee engagement
- Managing daily inventory, ensuring the business is prepared for every shift
- Maintaining strict compliance with liquor licensing and safety regulations
- Planning and executing marketing initiatives and events that drive guest engagement and sales
- Championing internal feedback programs and recognition initiatives
- Promoting the Gibbons Core Values in all interactions and decisions
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 2+ years of progressive hospitality leadership experience, ideally in high-volume, resort, or fast-paced operations
- Proven success leading and inspiring teams of 20+, driving engagement, performance, and growth
- Demonstrated ownership of financial performance, including revenue, margins, and operational results
- Experience operating within structured systems, utilizing KPI reporting and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Strong operational, financial, and strategic leadership capabilities, with the ability to balance people, process, and performance
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and engage teams, guests, and stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, POS systems, and scheduling/timekeeping software, with a comfort for leveraging technology to optimize operations
- Valid Serving It Right & First Aid Certification
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Existing housing in Whistler is a bonus; however temporary housing can be arranged
SALARY RANGE: $55,000 – $70,000 annual salary, based on experience and qualifications
