Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role located in Mississauga, ON, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Litigation Associate will handle motions, attend depositions, conduct legal research, and represent clients in court proceedings. The role also involves drafting legal documents, providing strategic advice, collaborating with clients, and ensuring thorough case preparation to achieve favorable outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law, with an ability to apply legal principles effectively
- Experience in drafting and presenting Motions and related legal submissions
- Proficiency in Research and utilizing legal resources effectively
- Proven experience conducting Depositions and preparing witnesses
- Knowledge and experience navigating Courts and related processes
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- A valid license to practice law in Ontario
- Ability to balance multiple cases and deadlines with attention to detail
- Experience in litigation within relevant areas of law is considered an asset
