Job Description
Software Design Engineer | Direct Hire
Location : Middletown, CT Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm Pay rate : $75,000-100,000
Software : LabVIEW software and National Instruments hardware
* Acts as technical reference for the customer and the main suppliers in relation to area of expertise * Review all technical information (specifications, programs, manuals, etc.) and make sure all specifications are met for each job * Perform installation and troubleshooting remotely and at customer's facilities * Provide internal IT and server support as needed
Requirements :
* Degree Engineering or Computer Science with strong programming background * Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally
Preferred Experience :
* Experience with LabVIEW and National Instruments, Visual Basic, and C++ * Experience integrating instrumentation sensors and Analog/Digital I/O (temperature, pressure, speed, vibration, etc.) * Experience and understanding of calibration and metrology * Knowledge of gas turbine/aircraft engine operation * Experience in PLC integration and testing * Experience in system engineering and/or test environments
