The Senior Business Intelligence Developer plays a crucial role in shaping and enhancing our enterprise Power BI solutions within CenterWell Finance. This is a remote opportunity, and candidates should align their working hours with Eastern Standard Time or Central Standard Time. This position focuses extensively on Power BI semantic modeling and financial reporting architecture, utilizing advanced SQL for data transformation. Our objective is to standardize month-end reporting, create executive dashboards, and facilitate self-service analytics. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop comprehensive Power BI reporting solutions that support month-end close, executive reporting, FP&A analysis, and provide operational finance insights across CenterWell.
Create and manage sophisticated Power BI semantic models and financial reporting datasets aligned with centralized Finance definitions, employing advanced SQL transformation logic.
Translate finance reporting and analytics needs into scalable BI models and dashboards ensuring peak performance and usability across business units.
Utilize curated Finance datasets from the centralized Snowflake and Databricks data platform, collaborating with data engineering teams to establish reporting-ready structures and comprehend cloud architecture.
Automate reporting workflows and distribution processes utilizing Power Automate, enhancing reliability and efficiency in reporting workflows and standardizing reporting frameworks.
Develop self-service datasets and reporting templates that empower Finance and business users to access standardized P&L-ready data via Power BI and Excel.
Collaborate with FP&A, Controllers, Accounting, and Finance leadership to implement analytics solutions for Home, Pharmacy, and PCO.
Contribute to the modernization of CenterWell Finance reporting by building scalable analytics products that enhance financial visibility, automation, and decision-making.
Bring your skills to make a difference! Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Analytics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
Over 5 years of experience in BI or analytics development.
Expertise in Power BI development (semantic modeling, DAX, financial reporting architecture).
Advanced SQL skills for intricate data transformation, modeling, and performance optimization in reporting environments.
Hands-on experience in creating enterprise dashboards and financial reporting solutions.
Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and/or Databricks.
Experience in automating reporting workflows using Power Automate or similar tools.
Proficient in financial reporting and FP&A concepts.
Experience handling large, complex datasets in enterprise environments.
Adept at converting business requirements into scalable BI solutions.
Strong communication capabilities with Finance and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in Finance or FP&A reporting environments.
Familiarity with healthcare financial data (claims, membership, RCM).
Skilled in developing governed self-service BI datasets or semantic layers.
Understanding of Databricks pipelines or cloud data engineering concepts.
Experience with enterprise BI tools and analytics platforms.
Advanced degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline.
Additional Information: Work from Home Internet Requirements: To ensure effective work for remote employees, a self-provided internet connection must meet the following criteria: a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is necessary; wired cable or DSL connection is preferred. Satellite, cellular, and microwave connections require leadership approval. Employees residing and working from home in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will receive bi-weekly reimbursement for their internet expenses. 40 Pay Range:
Competitive compensation reflects a good faith estimate for full-time employment (40 hours per week) at the time of posting. The pay range may vary based on geographic location and individual skills, experience, and education, among other factors. Salary Range: $89,000 - $121,400 annually. This position also qualifies for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
