Mechanical Project Engineer

Rockwell are seeking a mechanical project engineer to oversee an exciting project in the Athlone region, on a permanent, full-time basis.

• 
  
• Generate project schedules in conjunction with project team.
  
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
  
• Project engineering submissions and value engineering.
  
• Project procurement and materials management.
  
• Project build review and interaction with co-contractors.
  
• Designing in 3D using AutoCAD 3D software.
  
• Evaluating final product’s overall performance, reliability and safety.
  
• Alter/modify designs to meet requirements to eliminate malfunctions.
  

• 
  
• Relevant third level qualification in Mechanical / Building Services
  
• Knowledge and understanding of both HVAC and Piping Systems.
  
• Have a good level of knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit & BIM software systems.
  
• Minimum 3 years relevant work experience post qualification.
  
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate detailed monthly reports.
  
• Have a positive attitude with a passion to learn & succeed, an energetic approach and an ability to take accountability.
