Senior Network Engineer

PFH Technology Group is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our team.

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer (Level 3) to design, implement, maintain and support our clients growing network infrastructure.

• 
  
• Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
  
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
  
• Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
  
• Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
  
• Provide Level-3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
  
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
  
• Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team.
  
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
  
• Maintenance and support of Windows server systems, backups storage and Local Area Network technologies.
  
• Maintenance and support of Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory.
  
• Maintenance and support of client hardware, including roll-out of new clients, upgrades and hardware repairs including network printers.
  
• Ensure all IT security policies of the company are always implemented and adhered to.
  
• Review and updating of all IT process documentation.
  
• Maintenance of database software.
  
• Gathering requirements and translating business needs into business solutions including technical recommendations.
  
• Being a key contact on site for all IT related queries.
  

• 
  
• Proven hands‑on network engineering experience (at least 4 years).
  
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
  
• Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.
  
• Hands‑on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science.
  
• CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued).
