About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Assembly Supervisor to lead our assembly teams and ensure the production of high-quality, custom wood products.
This is a critical, hands-on role where your expertise in process efficiency and team development will directly impact our final product quality and delivery schedules. What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities
As our Assembly Supervisor, you will be the core of our production floor, managing people, processes, and products.
- Team Leadership & Coordination: Supervise, coordinate, and inspire a team of assemblers, overseeing all daily activities and ensuring efficient shift operations.
- Workflow Management: Establish and manage work schedules, coordinate workflow across different departments, and ensure all production deadlines are met.
- Quality Assurance: Own the final product quality, rigorously inspecting finished goods against technical standards and recommending process improvements to boost productivity.
- Resource & Inventory: Proactively manage inventory, ordering necessary materials and supplies to prevent production bottlenecks and maintain a consistent flow.
- Problem-Solving & Improvement: Quickly resolve production issues and identify areas for process optimization, quality enhancements, and waste reduction.
- Training & Development: Train all new and existing staff on assembly techniques, company policies, and strict safety procedures.
- Performance Management: Monitor, evaluate, and coach team member performance, providing guidance and making recommendations for hiring, promotions, and corrective actions.
What You Will Bring: Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have Expertise:
- Manufacturing Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Industry Background: Proven experience in the kitchen cabinet, commercial millwork, or custom furniture industry is a strong asset.
- Technical Proficiency: Must have the ability to accurately read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings (including floor plans and elevations).
- Safety Commitment: A strong, non-negotiable commitment to maintaining and enforcing a safe work environment.
Core Competencies:
- Leadership: Exceptional ability to lead, motivate, and delegate tasks effectively while maintaining high team morale.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly relay instructions, coordinate with management, and resolve team conflicts.
- Decision-Making: Proven ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure to keep production on track.

- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
