Position Overview
As an integral member of the Education Team, Color Professionals are responsible for delivering the education strategies set out annually. The focus of this role is to support color growth with our Distributor partners and their key loyalty salons as well as store education and market events.
The Color Professional would be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with these core salons through ongoing education facilitation, planning and strategies set out through a collaboration with the RBM and REM.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Manage ongoing education touch points of core accounts (VIP, Platinum and Gold salons)
- Key color education in salon (demos, hands-on, conversions, color correction, special events, etc.)
- Train and mentor Moroccanoil Artists on color education
- Work alongside the Sales Team and our Distributor partners to grow the color business
- Develop salon education plans with the Regional Education Manager and Regional Brand Manager
- Presentations at Distributor sales meetings, as required
- Planning, presentation and coordination of color segments at distributor shows and events
- Analyze distributor salon conversions regularly for sales trends and goal setting
- Support RBM and REM on specific projects as needed
- Maintain an active Social Media presence
- Color Business Education
- Stay up to date on competitive color brands and education initiatives
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in similar role or capacity
- Licensed hair professional (minimum 5 years)
- In depth knowledge of hair color theory
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with other team members
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Good understanding of the sales landscape
- Knowledge/experience of the professional salon industry
- Valid driver’s license and insurance. Ability to drive and travel long distances for extended periods
- Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
