IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE:


  • Overseeing daily kitchen operations across all services and events
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing culinary team
  • Setting and maintaining high standards for food quality, presentation, and cleanliness
  • Developing seasonal, guest-focused menus featuring fresh, local ingredients
  • Managing food and labour budgets with an eye on efficiency and excellence
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with FOH and leadership teams for seamless service
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety standards and best practices
  • Rolling up your sleeves and work the line when needed, this is a hands-on leadership role


EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED


  • Three (3) + years in a similar leadership role in high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environments
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
  • Demonstrated ability to manage food and labour costs
  • Proven ability to develop, coach and inspire a high-performing team
  • Familiarity with tools like Bevspot, POS systems, and kitchen management software
  • Red Seal certification (or equivalent) is an asset, but not required
  • Eligibility to work in Canada
  • Existing housing in Whistler is a bonus; however temporary housing can be arranged


SALARY RANGE: $70,000 – $80,000 annually (based on experience)
