Fire Alarm Programer

Are you an experienced and detail-oriented programmer with a strong background in the fire protection industry?

If you have a minimum of two years of fire alarm installation or repair experience, and possess excellent problem-solving skills, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our highly talented team at Onyx Fire as a Fire Alarm Programmer.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers, construction team, engineers, and technicians to understand project requirements and design specifications for fire alarm systems.
• Program and configure fire alarm control panels, devices, and related equipment in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes.
• Perform system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality and adherence to all standards and codes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to on-site installation and repair teams during the installation and commissioning phase of projects.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors to address any programming-related queries or concerns.
• Stay updated with industry advancements, technological trends, and best practices in fire alarm system programming.

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in fire alarm installation or repair within the fire protection industry.
• Proficiency in fire alarm system programming and related software applications.
• Solid understanding of fire alarm control panels, devices, and associated equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Highly motivated, self-driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams.
