Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, stacking items in designated areas, and assisting with inventory management. We emphasize a safe working environment, requiring the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transport goods to and from designated warehouse locations.
- Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on forklifts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Comply with all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous forklift operation experience required.
- Certification or license for forklift operation is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and logistics operations.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
