Join our growing team in Fort Worth, Texas, as an Inventory Clerk! This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our warehouse and ensures the accuracy of our stock levels. You'll be responsible for maintaining precise inventory records, performing regular stock takes, and assisting with the organization of warehouse stock. Your attention to detail will be crucial in identifying and resolving discrepancies, ensuring that our product data is up-to-date and reliable for our logistics team. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel and management to maintain an efficient and orderly stockroom. Adherence to all company safety policies and procedures is essential, including the correct use of PPE . While the primary focus is on record-keeping and organization, the role may involve occasional lifting of inventory items up to 30 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the system.
- Conduct regular physical counts of inventory items.
- Investigate and report any stock discrepancies.
- Assist in receiving and put-away of incoming goods.
- Organize and maintain the cleanliness of inventory storage areas.
- Prepare inventory reports as needed.
- Support cycle counting activities.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory.
- Collaborate with other departments on inventory-related matters.
- Follow all safety guidelines and use required PPE .
- Aid in the overall efficiency of warehouse logistics .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse setting is a plus.
- Proficiency with inventory management software or ERP systems is desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to perform occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics .
- Willingness to adhere to all safety protocols and wear PPE .
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
