We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in San Jose, California. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficient flow of goods within our state-of-the-art distribution facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and timely movement of inventory, loading and unloading trucks, and transporting materials to various departments. Your expertise in operating different types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks, will be essential. We are committed to a strong safety culture and provide all necessary PPE . This position involves significant Lifting and requires attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks. You will work closely with warehouse management to optimize space utilization and maintain organized stock levels. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation, excellent spatial awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. Join our growing team and contribute to our success in the Logistics industry. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Load and unload products from trucks and trailers.
- Assist in keeping facility clean, neat, and organized.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Scan and record inventory accurately.
- Support warehouse operations as needed, which may include Lifting and moving items manually.
- Participate in inventory counts and audits.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics chain.
