Join our team as an Order Picker in Provo, Utah! We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented individuals to accurately pick and prepare customer orders for shipment. This role is fundamental to our **Logistics** operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct items quickly and efficiently. You will be navigating our warehouse, using scanning equipment, and handling products with care. A strong focus on **Safety** and accuracy is paramount. This is a great entry-level opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment. We provide all necessary **PPE** and training to ensure your success.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Use handheld scanners to track inventory and order fulfillment.
- Pack picked items securely and safely for transport.
- Verify order accuracy before packaging.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all **Safety** guidelines.
- Operate order picking equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely.
- Assist with stocking and replenishment of picked inventory.
- Follow all **Logistics** procedures and protocols.
- Wear required **PPE** at all times, including **Safety** glasses and vests.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or **Safety** concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, stooping, and **Lifting** up to 35 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order selection.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced **Logistics** environment.
- Understanding of warehouse **Safety** procedures.
- Comfortable using handheld scanning devices.
- Willingness to wear appropriate **PPE**.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team player with a positive attitude towards **Safety**.
