Join our dynamic logistics team as a Forklift Operator in Washington, D.C.! We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to operate forklifts safely and efficiently within our warehouse environment. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth flow of goods, from receiving to dispatch. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, moving materials to and from storage areas, and stacking items appropriately. A keen eye for detail is essential to maintain accurate inventory levels and prevent damage to products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of warehouse operations and adhere strictly to all safety protocols. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and all employees are required to wear appropriate PPE at all times. This position involves regular Lifting of materials up to 50 lbs. Experience with various types of forklifts, including reach trucks and pallet jacks, is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
