Join our dynamic team in Provo, Utah, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for energetic individuals to efficiently pick products for customer orders and prepare them for shipment. This role is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering accurate and well-packaged orders. You will be responsible for accurately locating items in the warehouse, using scanning technology to verify selections, and carefully packaging products to prevent damage during transit. This position demands attention to detail, speed, and a commitment to quality. The ideal candidate is a motivated team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience with warehouse operations and a focus on Safety are essential for success in this role within our Logistics department. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick ordered items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Carefully pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring they are protected from damage.
- Apply shipping labels and any other required documentation to packages.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse area.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of PPE .
- Assist in other warehouse functions as needed, such as receiving or stocking.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and quality standards.
- Report any stock discrepancies or quality issues to supervisors.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels.
- Proficiency with handheld scanners and basic computer skills.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, and perform tasks involving Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
