Join our vibrant Distribution Center team in Raleigh, North Carolina as a Distribution Center Associate. This role is pivotal to the success of our operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods. You will be responsible for a range of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. A strong commitment to safety , accuracy, and productivity is expected. Your work directly impacts our logistics network and customer satisfaction. This role requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting . Adherence to all PPE requirements is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming merchandise.
- Sort and place inventory in designated storage areas.
- Accurately pick items to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Strictly follow all company safety regulations and procedures, including the use of required PPE .
- Participate in inventory counts and checks.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations.
- Perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including regular lifting of products.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar environment is preferred.
- Basic understanding of warehouse functions and inventory flow.
- Ability to operate manual material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, and frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety .
- Must be able to wear and utilize all required PPE .
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Awareness of logistics processes is beneficial.
