We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth flow of goods within our warehouse, contributing to the overall efficiency of our distribution operations. This is a critical position that requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with warehouse supervisors and other team members to manage inventory and fulfill orders. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of safe forklift operation and a thorough understanding of warehouse procedures. Your daily responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials to and from production and storage areas, and assisting with inventory counts. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is also essential. We emphasize a strong safety culture, and all employees are expected to adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Must be comfortable with frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. This role is essential to our logistics network, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods. Experience with various types of forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up models, is highly desirable. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment for all our employees.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move materials around the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification (preferred).
- Ability to perform frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Experience in a logistics environment is a plus.
