As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from our inventory and then expertly packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed are crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the smooth flow of our logistics operations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and possesses a strong commitment to quality and accuracy. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with team members to meet daily goals. We prioritize workplace Safety and expect all employees to strictly follow our safety guidelines and use all required PPE . Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse shelves based on order pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify product codes, quantities, and condition of items.
- Select appropriate packaging materials (boxes, tape, fillers) to ensure product protection during transit.
- Securely pack items, ensuring they are properly sealed and labeled for shipping.
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks to move materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear and properly use all assigned PPE .
- Meet or exceed targets for picking and packing accuracy and productivity.
- Support overall warehouse logistics by assisting with other tasks as required.
This position requires stamina for prolonged standing, walking, bending, and frequent lifting of items that may weigh up to 50 lbs. A strong commitment to safety is non-negotiable.
