Join our thriving logistics hub as a Picker/Packer in Charlotte, North Carolina! We are seeking dedicated individuals to ensure our products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently locating items within the warehouse, verifying their accuracy, and then securely packaging them for transit. This is a crucial position that directly impacts the customer experience and the efficiency of our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work at a consistent pace, and committed to maintaining a high level of accuracy. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace Safety , and adherence to all safety protocols is mandatory. You'll work as part of a collaborative team, contributing to the overall success of the warehouse. Performance is measured by accuracy, speed, and adherence to packaging standards. We provide all necessary training and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory locations based on order specifications.
- Verify product details and quantities against order documents.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and securely pack items.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Strictly adhere to all Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Wear and utilize required PPE correctly.
- Meet established targets for picking, packing speed, and accuracy.
- Support other warehouse functions within the logistics department as needed.
This role involves significant standing, walking, bending, and lifting of packages, which can weigh up to 50 lbs. A commitment to a safe working environment is essential.
