We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will assist in maintaining the accuracy of our warehouse inventory through various tasks, including cycle counting, receiving, and put-away. Your diligence is essential for ensuring that our stock levels are precise and that our logistics operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to upholding inventory accuracy standards. Ensuring proper handling and adherence to safety guidelines, including the use of PPE, is vital.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Assist with receiving and put-away of incoming goods.
- Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Update inventory records accurately in the warehouse management system.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated locations.
- Ensure proper labeling and identification of all stock.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Support the logistics team with inventory-related information.
- Report any stock issues or potential problems to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inventory control or a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 35 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse principles.
- Willingness to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and use of PPE.
