We are looking for a reliable Order Picker to join our Des Moines, Iowa warehouse team. In this critical logistics role, you will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving products to fulfill customer orders. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Verify product identity and quantity before placing items in the order tote.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Report any discrepancies or damages encountered during picking.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE consistently.
- Meet established quotas for picking speed and accuracy.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Experience with RF scanning devices is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational skills and time management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to safety and following all instructions.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
