We are looking for a detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting products from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your work directly impacts our logistics operations and customer satisfaction. You will use handheld scanners and pick lists to locate and gather items, ensuring accuracy in both product and quantity. Safety is a top priority in our warehouse; therefore, adherence to all safety guidelines and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is expected. This position requires physical activity, including regular lifting, standing, and movement throughout the shift. Responsibilities:
- Retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets or scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Inspect items for damage before and after picking.
- Pack picked items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues to the supervisor.
- Operate pallet jacks and other lifting devices as needed.
- Contribute to meeting daily picking goals and overall logistics efficiency.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Knowledge of safe warehouse practices and proper PPE usage.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
