Join our dynamic team in Indianapolis, Indiana, as a Warehouse Associate. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our warehouse, encompassing a wide range of tasks from receiving to shipping. You'll be an integral part of our logistics chain, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all your duties.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods.
- Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks as required.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Identify and report any damages or discrepancies to management.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
- Familiarity with safety regulations in a logistics setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
