Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages with shipping information, ensuring accuracy.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movements.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Lift and move packages as required, up to the designated weight limit.
- Collaborate with team members to meet order fulfillment targets.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand order forms.
- Physical capability to perform tasks involving standing, bending, reaching, and frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Attention to detail is crucial for accurate order fulfillment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic logistics setting.
