We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team in Nashville, Tennessee. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders, ensuring timely and correct fulfillment. This role is crucial to our logistics operations and requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. You will work in a fast-paced environment, navigating through aisles to pick specific products. Emphasis will be placed on adhering to all safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a secure and productive workspace. You will utilize various equipment, including pallet jacks and order pickers, to complete your tasks. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential as you'll collaborate with other warehouse associates to meet daily picking targets. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is also a key responsibility. Experience with RF scanners is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated locations.
- Verify item numbers and quantities against order sheets.
- Use RF scanners to track picked items.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Meet daily picking quotas and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all PPE requirements and safety regulations.
- Report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety best practices.
- Basic understanding of logistics principles.
Requirements:
- Must be able to wear required PPE at all times.
- Must be able to perform repetitive lifting and bending.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
