Our dynamic logistics center in Baltimore, Maryland, is seeking enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our team! This role is fundamental to our efficient order fulfillment process. You will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and packing them with care for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order specifications using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Inspect picked items for any damages or discrepancies.
- Pack items securely into appropriate shipping boxes or containers, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and any necessary documentation correctly.
- Process orders efficiently to meet established productivity standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area according to warehouse guidelines.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock rotation activities.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed to support team objectives.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picker/packer role or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 35 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order selection and packing.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
