We are hiring a Picker/Packer in Virginia Beach, Virginia, to join our dedicated warehouse team. This role is crucial for our order fulfillment process, ensuring that products are accurately picked from inventory and efficiently packed for delivery. You will be instrumental in maintaining customer satisfaction by guaranteeing the correct items are sent out promptly. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and wear required PPE , such as safety vests and gloves.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Support the broader Logistics team in achieving daily shipping goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking and packing or warehouse work is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and Lifting up to 45 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety .
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic Logistics and warehouse procedures is a plus.
- Must be able to wear appropriate PPE consistently.
