Richmond, Virginia needs energetic Order Pickers to support our expanding logistics operations! As an Order Picker, you will be the backbone of our fulfillment process, accurately selecting products from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. This role demands accuracy, speed, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Locate products in various warehouse locations.
- Verify item numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage picked orders for quality control and carrier pickup.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock replenishment activities.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking and fulfillment goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse technology (scanners, WMS) is a plus.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
