We are looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in St. Louis, Missouri. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage staff, ensure productivity, and maintain a safe and efficient working environment. This leadership role is essential for driving operational excellence and meeting our logistics goals. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the activities of warehouse staff, including order pickers, receivers, and material handlers.
- Schedule and assign tasks to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily operational targets.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse personnel.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, accuracy, and storage conditions.
- Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of PPE.
- Implement and enforce best practices for warehouse safety and security.
- Manage the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Maintain equipment and facilities, coordinating repairs as needed.
- Foster a positive and productive team environment.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on operational performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems effectively.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to promoting a safe work environment and enforcing safety procedures.
