We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our logistics and distribution center. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately and in a timely manner. Ensuring all team members are trained on proper safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is paramount. This role involves regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock merchandise accurately in designated locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision.
- Prepare shipments for outgoing delivery, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Follow all guidelines regarding the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
