This role is crucial to ensuring the efficient flow of goods from our facility to our customers. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well in a fast-paced environment, and understands the importance of accuracy in warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock merchandise in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for outbound transportation, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment safely (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and security.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by management.
- Comply with all OSHA and company safety regulations, including wearing required PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform manual labor, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the use of PPE.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
