We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Baltimore, Maryland. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment within our state-of-the-art warehouse facility. Your primary role will involve navigating the warehouse, identifying products using handheld scanners, and ensuring the correct items and quantities are picked. This position is crucial to our operational efficiency and requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. You will work closely with other warehouse associates and supervisors to maintain a smooth workflow and meet daily picking targets.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Locate products within the warehouse using established methods.
- Verify product information and quantities against order details.
- Package picked items securely for shipment.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as required.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if needed.
