We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. You will work closely with inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock levels and contribute to the overall success of our fulfillment process. - Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order slips.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Safely pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring proper protection.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Operate hand-held scanning devices to track inventory movement.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking and packing targets.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels.
- Proficiency in using scanning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Capability of Lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following guidelines.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
