Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional? Our Des Moines, Iowa facility is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse inventory. In this critical role, you will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, reconciling stock levels, and implementing procedures to minimize shrinkage and improve stock accuracy. You will work closely with warehouse staff, management, and potentially external auditors to ensure data integrity. Proficiency with inventory management software and a strong understanding of warehouse logistics are essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in inventory control, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to upholding safety standards, including the proper use of PPE. This role involves some lifting and movement of inventory, so a degree of physical capability is necessary. You will be instrumental in optimizing stock rotation, identifying slow-moving items, and contributing to efficient warehouse operations. We are looking for someone proactive, who can identify potential issues before they arise and implement effective solutions.
