Our Miami, Florida warehouse is looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist. This position is vital for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to improve inventory management processes. This role plays a crucial part in the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Monitor stock levels and identify items for replenishment.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper handling and storage of goods.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Requirements:
- Proven experience in inventory control, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
