*Job Title: Technical Project Manager *
*Location:* North Kansas City, MO (In-person)
*Position Overview:*
The Technical Project Engineer plays a critical role in guiding customer projects from *development purchase order through prototype approval and into production*.
This position combines *technical understanding, project management, and customer interaction*. The ideal candidate is comfortable discussing electronics and interface technologies while also coordinating timelines, driving progress, and keeping projects organized.
You will work closely with *sales, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams* while also communicating directly with customers and manufacturing partners.

*Key Responsibilities*
* Manage customer development projects from *NRE or development PO through prototype approval*
* Coordinate activities between *customers, suppliers, sales, engineering, and quality teams*
* Track *project timelines, milestones, and deliverables*
* Support *new product development projects*, including prototype builds and validation
* Participate in *technical customer calls and design discussions*
* Assist in reviewing customer specifications and recommending appropriate *display, touchscreen, and interface solutions*
* Ensure project documentation, drawings, and technical requirements remain aligned
* Help troubleshoot technical or quality issues during development
* Maintain clear and consistent communication with customers throughout the development cycle

*Required Qualifications*
* *Bachelor’s degree in Engineering* (Electrical Engineering preferred, Mechanical or related engineering disciplines considered)
* *2–5 years of experience* in engineering, product development, or technical project coordination
* Exposure to *electronics, HMI systems, displays, or industrial controls* preferred
* Familiarity with *board-level electronics and component selection* is helpful
* Firmware or coding experience is a plus but not required
* Strong organizational and project management skills
* Comfortable communicating with both *technical and non-technical stakeholders*
* Ability to work effectively in a *collaborative team environment*
*Preferred Qualifications*
Prior experience as a *Field Applications Engineer (FAE)*, customer support engineer, or equivalent role with deep interaction with OEMs or electronics integrators.
Previous work on *consumer electronics products* with display/HMI systems (e.g., tablets, automotive displays, industrial touch systems, IoT devices).
Knowledge of embedded systems software/hardware interaction, display calibration, and user interface validation.
Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and automated test platforms.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
