based from our Portland, Dorset office at Osprey Quay G3 Systems is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Engineering Support Services (ESS) team. This role will support the design and engineering of modular and containerised systems, working closely with project managers, engineers and suppliers to deliver innovative engineering solutions. The successful candidate will report to the ESS Operations Manager and be responsible for producing high-quality engineering designs, documentation and technical support throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Develop 3D models using Autodesk Inventor. Produce 2D technical drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. Carry out Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using Autodesk Inventor. Produce and review engineering drawings and technical documentation, including integration of multiple systems and services. Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BoMs). Prepare and review manufacturing and integration / installation packages. Provide technical support during production and system integration.
